  • How often should I have my pet groomed?
The frequency of grooming depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, and activity level: Short-haired dogs (like Beagles or Boxers): Grooming every 4-6 weeks should be enough. Long-haired dogs (like Poodles or Collies): Regular grooming is needed, about every 6-8 weeks, and may require more frequent brushing. Double-coated dogs (like Huskies or Retrievers): These dogs shed heavily and need regular brushing, at least every 1-2 weeks, or more during shedding seasons.
  • How do I prepare my pet for grooming?
Here are some helpful tips to prepare your pet: Bring your pet on a leash or in a pet carrier if you're dropping them off. Ensure they are up-to-date on vaccinations (for health and safety reasons). Avoid feeding them right before the appointment to reduce anxiety or discomfort. Let us know of any special requests or concerns (e.g., sensitive skin, past grooming experience, health conditions).
  • Do you use pet-safe grooming products?
Absolutely! We only use high-quality, pet-safe products for all of our grooming services. Our shampoos, conditioners, and other grooming products are formulated specifically for pets’ skin and coats, and we offer hypoallergenic options for sensitive animals.
  • Do I need to make an appointment, or can I walk in?
We recommend making an appointment, as we often get busy, especially on weekends or during peak seasons. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability may be limited, so it’s best to call ahead to secure your spot.
  • How much does grooming cost?
Grooming prices vary based on factors like breed, size, coat condition, and the services requested. We offer custom quotes for each pet and provide clear pricing before starting any grooming work. Feel free to contact us for an estimate.
  • What is your no-show policy?
We understand that life can get busy, but when a client doesn't show up for their scheduled grooming appointment, it impacts our ability to serve other pets and clients. To ensure we can maintain efficient scheduling and high-quality service, we have the following no-show policy: No-shows will result in a fee equivalent to 50% of the total grooming service.
  • What if I need to cancel last minute due to an emergency?
We completely understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel last minute, please reach out to us as soon as possible. While we still apply the cancellation fee, we may be able to waive it depending on the situation, especially if it’s a genuine emergency. Just communicate with us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
  • Can I reschedule my appointment instead of canceling?
es! You can reschedule your appointment, but we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid any cancellation fees. This gives us enough time to adjust our schedule and offer your original appointment slot to another client.
  • What if I show up late for my appointment?
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your grooming session or reduce the service provided, as we have a tight schedule to accommodate other clients. We will always try to work with you if you're running late, but please call us as soon as possible to let us know.
